In 2025, I proudly became the first woman elected to represent Sturt in the Federal Parliament.
Together with my husband, stepdaughter and cats Boo and Tay, I am proud to call Sturt home. I am a keen runner and you may see me hitting the pavement in the early mornings in our Sturt reserves.
My career has taken me across Australia, Asia and the Middle East as a lawyer, and later into Australia's defence industry, where I worked on projects critical to our national security.
Guided by a strong belief in service, I have also contributed to my community through the Royal Flying Doctor Service (SA/NT) and as an elected local councillor on the Norwood Payneham and St Peters Council.
I represent my community of Sturt on several parliamentary committees in Canberra while also delivering exactly what Sturt needs – a strong voice that wants to make a difference and work hard.
“Whether you are a trades person in the defence sector or working in caregiving, education, health or a professional profession, you deserve an opportunity to contribute to your community and make a life for you and your family.”
